Lie with your knees bent and your feet flat. Cross your arms over your chest or rest tem gently on either side of your head.
Keep one finger width of space under your spine so that your hips and pubic bone are level.
While maintaining the space between the floor and your spine, contract the abdominals and lift your shoulders up to off the floor.
Keep your head and neck in neutral position as you lift.
Breathe throughout the exercise.
Lift your shoulders and repeat as advised by your Physical Therapist.
