On March 19, the cybersecurity and infrastructure security agency (CISA) of the department of homeland security released a list of essential critical infrastructure workers. physical and occupational therapist were labeled at essential caregivers.
Our top priority at Iron City Physical Therapy is to keep our patients and employees safe. We are closely monitoring and following the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Listed below are ways we are taking extra precautions during this unique time.

Initial Screening
Our Front Office Staff will be asking screening questions to all patiet upon arrival.
- Have you traveled outside the US?
- Have you been in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19?
- Have you had fever, cough or shortness of breath in the last 24 hours?

Staff Screening
Our staff is trained to look for symptoms associated with COVID-19.
If any of our staff present with these symptoms they are to stay home and not return until cleared by a physician.

Appointment Times
Our appointment times have been adjusted to follow CDC guidelines for the safety of our staff and patients with adequate time to disinfect all equipment in between each patient. |

Disinfecting Procedures
Iron City Physical Therapy continues to clean all equipment, tables, and surfaces thoroughly in between patients and throughout the day.
